## About Personal Planner

Your plan looked reasonable in the morning. By evening, one task had taken twice as long and a few others had moved to tomorrow.

**Personal Planner keeps that history**, so you have something to work with when planning again.

It's a free, offline-first app for **Windows, macOS, Linux and Android**. Place tasks on a day or week timeline, start a timer when you work, and compare the time you planned with the time you actually spent.

**Daily and weekly reviews**bring your tasks, tracked time and notes together. You can write why something was skipped, reflect on the week, and return to **older days without losing the context**.

Recurring tasks and templates help with regular plans. An **inbox** holds ideas until you're ready to schedule them. **Experiments** let you try a routine over a few weeks, using time you've already tracked to follow your progress.

I built it because I kept underestimating tasks and making the same estimates again. I use it every day myself.

Everything works offline without an account, with data stored on your device. Optional cross-device sync uses your own Supabase project and requires setup.

The app is open source under the **MIT license**. No subscriptions or paid feature tiers.
