Orkas

Turn project briefs and local files into reports, slides, code and creative assets

About Orkas

Bring a project brief and its source files into Orkas to work toward a useful deliverable in one desktop workspace. Commander plans the work and coordinates specialist agents for research, documents, presentations, development and creative tasks. For example, ask for a source-backed project report, review its open questions, then turn the checked conclusions into slides. The example describes a possible workflow, not a measured customer result. Projects keep instructions, memory and selected Library sources available for later work. Reusable skills preserve a method or delivery standard, while authorized connectors bring supported work tools into the task. You can inspect the MIT-licensed desktop source and choose supported model providers with your own API keys or Orkas-managed models. Compatible local endpoints are supported for suitable chat models; configuration and model capabilities bound each task. Working files, history and outputs stay on your device by default. Remote models and tools receive the relevant content for their calls; optional cloud sync and sharing upload their selected scope. Packaged apps are available for macOS and Windows, with Linux source support. The core desktop app is free; model usage and optional services may cost extra.
