Terms of Service

Last updated October 2, 2026

1. What DailyLaunch is

DailyLaunch is a directory where makers list their software products and launch them to people looking for new tools. These Terms set the rules for using the site, submitting a product and buying Premium. By using DailyLaunch or submitting a product, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who can use DailyLaunch

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age your country requires to accept online terms if that is higher. If you submit a product for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it.

3. Your account

You need an account to submit a product. It is also where you follow and edit your submissions, from your dashboard. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google, so there is no password to remember. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read your inbox can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Submitting a product

A submission includes the product's website, name, tagline, description, category, pricing, tags, logo and optional screenshots, plus, if you like, an X handle. We email you about it at your account's address. By submitting, you confirm that:

  • the listing is accurate and describes the product as it really is;
  • you have the right to share the logo, screenshots and text you upload;
  • the product follows the listing rules below.

You can edit your listing at any time from your dashboard. Editing a submission we did not accept sends it back for review.

5. Listing rules: what gets rejected

A person reviews every submission before it goes live. We turn a submission down when:

  • It is not a software product people can use. Portfolios, agency or freelance service sites, blog posts and articles, "best of" lists, and parked or for-sale domains do not qualify.
  • It is harmful or not allowed. Spam, malware, phishing, scams, adult content and gambling are refused.
  • The listing does not match the website. This includes tags or pricing the site clearly contradicts, for example "Open source" or "Free" for a product that is neither.
  • The listing is not written in English.
  • The website does not work, or the product is already listed.

That is the whole list. We do not judge quality, design, taste or how new the idea is: if a product is real, described honestly and allowed, it gets listed.

When we turn a submission down, we email you the reason. Fix the listing from your dashboard and it goes back into review. We may also take down a live listing that breaks these rules later, for example if its website turns into something we would not accept, and we will normally tell you why.

6. Free Launch

Free Launch costs nothing. Once approved, your product goes live at 00:00 UTC on the Monday after you submitted it, or the Monday after that if the review takes longer. It spends its launch week in Latest launches on the home page and stays listed in the directory afterwards.

In return, a free listing needs our badge on your website: a link back to DailyLaunch that search engines can follow, so without rel="nofollow". We check for it before you submit, then regularly for as long as your product is listed. If the badge is removed, we may take the listing down.

7. Premium

Premium is a one-time payment per product, with no subscription. The price is shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. A Premium product is still reviewed, ahead of the free queue, and once approved it is featured on the home page right away. Premium listings do not need our badge.

Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), our payment provider and merchant of record, which also takes care of sales tax and receipts. Polar's own terms apply to the payment.

If we cannot accept a Premium product and it cannot be fixed to meet the listing rules, we refund the payment. Otherwise, because Premium starts working as soon as the product is approved, payments are not refundable except where the law says they must be. A Premium listing taken down later for breaking these Terms is not refunded.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You give DailyLaunch a free, worldwide license to host, display, resize and format your listing, logo and screenshots on the site, and to show them when we share the directory and its launches, for example on social media. The license ends when the listing is removed, except for posts already published.

9. Comments

Signed-in users can comment on product pages, and makers can answer. Keep comments respectful and on topic: no spam, no repeated self-promotion, no harassment and nothing illegal. You are responsible for what you post. We may remove any comment, and suspend accounts that break these rules. You can delete your own comments at any time.

10. Links to other websites

Listings link to websites we do not run. A listing is not an endorsement: beyond the review above, we do not check what products do, and we are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or how they treat you. Use your own judgment before you sign up for or pay for anything listed here.

11. AI features

"Fill with AI" reads your product's website and drafts your listing from it. The draft is only a starting point: check it before you submit, because you are responsible for what your listing says.

12. Using DailyLaunch fairly

Please do not:

  • submit the same product several times, or in bulk, to get around the review;
  • scrape the site in a way that slows it down, or try to break, overload or get around its security;
  • pretend to be someone else, or submit a product in someone else's name to mislead people;
  • use DailyLaunch for anything illegal.

13. Removing listings and accounts

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Your listings stay in the directory unless you ask us to remove them, which you can do at any time by email. We may suspend your account or remove your listings if you break these Terms.

14. No guarantees

DailyLaunch is provided "as is". We do not promise any amount of traffic, sign-ups, sales or search ranking from a listing, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as DailyLaunch changes, and change the date at the top. If a change matters for you, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Using DailyLaunch after that means you accept the new Terms.
